GMC A-D Antenna

Almost finished doing my 50 GMC, has anyone had trouble with the rear edge of the hood hitting the antenna put in the stock location at corner of windshield. This existing mounting hole appears to be factory or dealed installed, but the hood will hit it when hood is fully raised. Thanks in advance for any info.
