That truck has independant front suspension with torsion bars. One very expensive to repair portion of the front susoension is the ball joints,which tend to wear out. Jack up each front wheer under the outboard portion of the lower A frame. try shaking the bottom of the wheel in/out to see if their is any movement in the ball joints. If they move,they are worn out and will cost in excess of $1600 to replace,IF anyone still has them.
I scrapped an otherwise rebuilbable 62- C60 cab over for this reason.
