My vote goes with Jerry. I have an 83 C20 chevy with dual tanks I ran dry in the field one day. Even after putting gas in both tanks I still had to disconnect the line at the fuel pump and blow air back through the lines to break the crud loose off the tank strainers so she could get fuel to the engine. You ought know as soon as youtake the line loose at the pump if your getting gas since gravity will feed it that far if there are no restrictions or plugs present.
