sounds like a compression leak into the coolant..
maybe head gaskets or cracked head...an easy test.
remove thermostat and water pump belt, fill radiator until it over flows..start engine and watch for air bubbles..if you see bubbles, you have compression leaking into the radiator... if you want to know what cylinder is leaking, remove the rocker arms, remove spark plugs, use an adapter and connect an air hose with 150 psi to each cylinder and watch for bubbles in the radiator
