1976 C-65 Chevy truck tune up - info request

The Chevy, 366 cu. in. engine, truck I recently aquired is running... but needs tuned up. Additionally, it doesn't have the vacuum advance hooked up on the distrubutor and I can't seem to figure out where it was origionally plugged in.
Does anyone know?

Additionally, does anyone have the tune spec. for this engine or know where I can get a book?

all help appreciated.
