can anybody tell me how to rebuild a starter and a 1986 Bronco II. I just put the engine in it and went and tested the starter and it wont ingage the bendix. found anothe bronco 2 starter, same thing. took the starter out of my 1986 mustang, worked befor I took it out, tested it worked just fine. switched nose peice and it wouldn't work, switched it back, still doesn.t work. They all will engage the bendix if you push the bendix engager about a 1/2 inch down.
Are all my Fords cursed?? am i cursed?? am I just having bad luck?? is there something I am overlooking??
this is just a "around the house and in the woods" truck and don't want to put a $60.00 starter in it.
Thanks in advance
