Hard to say. Every engine is different with a change in back pressure. Look at motorcycle dyno testing. Some bikes lose hp with straight pipes. Sound cool though. I had 69 Lincoln took off the whole dual system, would hardly run. Also 70 Caddy, thought I burned a valve, put exhaust pipes back on, ran like a clock again. I cleaned out catalytic converter on 78 Caddy, ran OK. My wife had a Pontiac T1000 though, catalytic converter plugged and did not run well.
