1975 F-600 361 Engine

I just bought this truck and it was running okay but now has a clatter, occasional sharp rap noise in it. Truck has good oil pressure (60 lbs.) We think it is a lifter and have tried Marvel Mystery Oil and ATF Transmission Fluid. It seemed to help but after it idles for a few minutes it sounds like all the lifters are sticking or occasionally a loud sharp rap. If it idles for quite a while that is when all the clatter really begins. Any help would be appreciated very much.
