Hi,

I have a 1969 chevy w/ a 350 V8... I had an experience a couple of months ago where nothing happened when I turn the key to start the motor. After a few tries it turned over and started right up. This happened 3 or 4 times but now it won't start at all. It has a new battery and all my lights are strong etc... I am sure it is not the battery or alternator. I found a small red wire on the starter celenoid that was about to break but I fixed it and that didn't help. I would assume that if the starter was getting power it would at least spin up or something but absolutley nothing happens when I turn the key??? I am thinking it might be the ignition switch but I am not sure. Does anyone have any troubleshooting advise or tips for this problem. I would really appreciate the help! Thanks
