H E L P me out boys. I have a Freightliner Condo that I plan to build a motorhome out of and the frame will extend out behind the rear axle by six foot or so. My question: Can I safely mount a three inch ball that far behind the rear axle of the truck to pull a gooseneck trailer that has either three axles or duelly tandems? I estimate that the tongue weight would be not more than a thousand pound max. The weight on the trailer will be mostly on the trailer axles. If you don't know but know of a wedsite or someone I could call this morning then please pass on the info as I was about to take my truck to a frame shop to be cut and stretched this morning and then someone suggested that I mount an I-Beam on top of my frame instead of cutting it. Many Thanks, Sonny Heath
