Howdy--I'm trying to identify a truck I came across at an abandoned gold prospecting site in the wilds of Alaska. The truck in question is very old, with wood spoke wheels. Its doors say "Speed Wagon" and its grill has the Chevrolet sign. Searching google, I've found out there was a Speed Wagon made by REO, but I can't find one made by Chevy. DID Chevy make one? The other possibilities I can think of are that the miners (a) used Chevy replacement reparts on an REO, (b) used REO doors on a Chevy, (c) painted the doors themselves (least likely). If anyone can shed light I'd be interested. Thanks.
