GMC 1/2 Ton Jack

I have a '50 GMC half ton that will be finished soon (I hope), does anyone know where the jack was to be stored in these trucks, I have the orignal owners manual and don't see it in there. This truck also has the slide out spare tire under rear of box, not swing out.
