well i did some searching on the internet about this pickup to see what it could be worth so i decided to try this mesage board. I am interested in getting a 61 ford f100 custom cab unibody pick up, and there is one i have my eye on, but i thought i would ask you guys because from the postings i have viewed so far it sounds like quiet a few of you know a great deal about these pickups. The truck i am looking at is a long box model, but it has been mounted on the frame and running gear out of a 86 ford f-150, the body looks great, no rust what so ever, but i didn't have the time to check out the underside of the truck, or the mecahanics of the truck. The guy selling it is asking for 8900 the truck, the interior is original, and it looks great from the short time i had too look at it , so do you think i should go for a lower price or is it a good deal, it has a 305 v8 with an automatic transmission , but is the truck worth that price? I could go and check it out and get more info on it if it would help you guys out.
