352 Ford truck

A buddy has an old F100 with a 352 that runs rough like it's missing.It has two cylinders on one side that does this and two on the other.He has swapped plugs and had the carb apart twice to no avail.I told him to spary carb cleaner on the intake in varius places to check for vaccume leaks.It runs well under a load.Have any ideas guys?Thanks,Jack(TN).
