Doug,
I just got a 1952 Chevy 2 ton truck, I am planning on using it to pull trailers. I also want to put a 5.9 cummings in it, with a chip intake and dual stacks. It will be a couple years before I do this but I was planning on buying a wrecked truck with the 5.9 cunnings and trans in it. I also thought about using the same rear end out of the dodge truck. I an going to put air ride suspension on it and air brakes on the old chevy. After I get the truck finished I will be able to pull any trailer I want to with a good looking truck. So good luck with your truck.
