Grandpa put his A on a 51 chevy 2 ton flatbed. Hauled it a few times that way but you have to know up front about a couple issues. One is the bed with and your tractor have to agree. Two is the wood on the bed needs to be stout enough to take it on and some older beds might not still do it. The last thought is even though this truck had a hoist on the bed, we didn't use it for loading the tractor because it went on back tires first and we could easily have rolled the tractor while unloading or loading or possibly messed up the hoist.
We always loaded them with the bed flat off a ramp. Not everywhere has a ramp like they used to.
