Yes, the paper test does "pop" back and forth into the tailpipe. You can hear the rough idle of the engine in unison with paper moving also. I will look for my compression gauge (that I have not seen in years) and see if I can find that weak cylinder. I tried to look into the distributor but the cap was stuck on -- could not get it off and didn't want to hit it with anything hard. Will try my rubber mallet tomorrow. Thanks for the tips.
