The wires do look "home made" and appear old. I'll check these also. The radiator contents are lower than I remember and I don't see any wet spots under the engine, maybe there is a small leak into the combustion chambers. Thanks for the info. I don't know when I'll get to do this maintenance now, the truck belongs to my boss and she has found lots of other things for me do around the farm this summer! I'll let you know what I find.
