1947-53 Chevy cab onto 1975 C-10 chassis

Do any of you have any links or can you give thoughts on swapping a 1949 era cab onto a 1975 C-10 chassis?

Rough measurments of width and length seem similar, but I haven't yet measured extensivily.

Any thoughts? I already have both, the '75 with bad cab, the '49 will little on the chassis but the cab and front clip.
