Hello,
I guess you have already done some more work on the carb, you mite try/check points & condencer,check plugs for cracks as well as dist. cap for defects/damage. You mite also add a small can of chainsaw mix[1 gal. mix size] as these old engines were designed for leaded gas. Add this to maybe 5 gal.of gas, especialy if it has been setting for a while, otherwise driving it will help get it limbered up and cleaned out.
