An automatic equipped engine makes an easy swap with no clutch linkage to fabricate. Get all the throttle linkage to the trans if used and you might have an easier swap with somthing with a carb instead of electronic fuel injection. Try to get the complete donor car for all the little bits you need to mount and make the engine/trans work. Motor mounts,front driveshaft section etc. Have fun. A smallblock Ford or Chevy is a nice fit in an early F5 I drove a 48 f5 with a 289 Ford power for many years.
