I got an idea, and I'm wondering how good or bad it is. 84 F150 2wd-strong 300-6 granny 4speed. I am usually hauling something heavy with it. I have an extra matching axle and thought about adding to the back of the frame and mounting the springs inboard of the frame and welding new spring perches to the axle. I'm wondering if the half tons frame is just too light for this? Or if anyone within 200 miles of St.Paul has a one ton chassy that I could put one of my good cabs on, email me at reddwhitenblue@yahoo.com
