Hi All,
I'll be getting a 49 3100 from my father in-law. He was planning to put the body on his 71 Cheyenne, but no longer has the time. The body and frame in good shape, and it was running 4 years ago, but has been sitting since. I do not want to restore it, but rather put a new updated chassis and crate motor in it. I have been reading about frame swaps with 84-88 S10's. Advance designs has a kit. Are there any other chassis's that the 49 body will bolt with out too much work? I am a weekend Mechanic taking on my first project and I'm trying to keep fairly simple.

Thanks for any input..
Tom
