I've got a 1958 Chevy C60 Viking 2 ton truck.
I feel that the truck is geared very low as it only gets 8-9 miles per gallon. The motor is a 283 and is in very good running condition. How can I gear the truck gesred higher so the motor runs at lower rpm at 45 to 50 mph and I get better gas mileage?
