I may have bought a Mazda B 2000 2wd swb man trans but with a problem in the engine.I can get it cheap and it is one straight truck with no apparent body damage. The engine was running yesterday and started running rough then after shutting off it wouldn't start back.It sounds like the timing belt slipped by the way it sounds turning over. The owner had it towed and a mechanic looked at it and told her the timing belt looked new and that the engine has no compression. If the timing belt has not slipped what would cause no compression condition? This little truck would be ideal for Jr to drive back and forth to school if I can fix it.Whatcha think guys?Jack
