On any 3 speed auxillary that I've driven, Low or under drive was towards the driver and back, towards the back of cab. 2nd or direct was to the right and towards the back of the cab. Overdrive was towards the dash on the right. Some times that pattern can be flip flopped as far as side to side but not front to back. I hope I've cleared that up some.HJ
