I just purchased my first classic truck. A 1946 Chevy 3100 1/2 ton - all original. The owner had the engine rebuilt just 8,000 miles ago. With that, the rebuild shop instructed him to mix 1/2 pint of tranny fluid with 20 gallons of gas to equal that of regular gas. This was the first I had heard of this. Is there a better method? Is this fine to do? What would be pros and cons of continuing to do this? Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks, Craig
