Dodge motor interchange

We have a 60's Dodge 2 ton truck in the community that has a Hi Ranger boom crane on it that is handy for lots of things. It has a real tired Y block 318? in it and I was asked if a newer 318 or 360 would fit and I don't know much at all about those engines and flywheel bolt housing patterns.
I am pretty sure they won't fit. This truck has a big 5spd with a PTO for the hydraulics. We have two donors pu's one with the old 318 Y block and the other the new style 318.

Anybody ever messed with this kind of setup??
