'41 engine change?Posted by RobRoy on September 07, 2006 at 11:24:35 from (149.111.120.218): I'm working on a 1941 1/2 ton truck with the standard 216 engine in it. Talking with a guy who specializes in these engines and parts, he suggested not rebuilding the 216 and instead putting in a 234, which I also have access to. I'm not necessarily interested in building a show-quality truck, so I'm not worried about that, but is there anything that I should know in particular about putting a 234 in that would make it less appealing than rebuilding the 216?
