I priced a basic custom built truck frame with,if I recall right,Chevelle IFS, and 4link rear w/corporate housing a couple yrs back and was actually pleasantly surprised at cost vs buying redesigning/rebuilding a stocker.Check ads in "Truckin" magazine or such.Seems price ran from around $1600(basic)to around $3200 for a "complete" rolling chassis depending on options.Unfortunately my life changed and my project plans withered away :(
