Looked under the dash of my 71 Chevrolet Pickup with factory tach. The tach has two terminals on the rear, the left one goes to the fuseblock for power and the right one goes to the distributor. Of course these wires have been replace, probably the factory tach dash board added later. Looked in my 71 sevice manual, and it does not show a dash with tach in it on the electrical diagrams. If it works accurately, your set, If worried check for current with a test light in the female ends, to see if their live. Good luck. Tried but could not answer.
