Hey Truck, your jeeps looking good, amazing how one can track the history and usage of some vehicles by going down through layers of paint. The Willys wheels help a lot too. Did you ever figure out why the transmission was out of yours? Or was that a spare? In your shots of the military vehicle show, the little little 4x4 platform was called a "mule", developed in the late 50s, one could drive it, or swing the steering down, pile the bed high with cargo and run it from the ground like a big pallet mover. Army and Marines used them I believe, last saw one in operation in the 80s. john in ne.
