85 dodge emmision part nowhere to be found

This truck has a 360 in it with a little ported vacuum switch that I ordered 3 months ago from the only parts store that thought they could get it. Dealer said good luck and find a junk yard maybe to get one. It is a plastic part and only $18 but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can get that part any faster. It runs the distributor vacuum and should help me from backfiring once I load the carb up and back off it too quick. My next plan is to run a bypass so I am not leaking vacuum and just have the motor believe it is already warmed up I suppose.
