Thanks for the replies Hal and Kent. I'll take a closer look into the condition of the motor before I decide what to do. Fortunately there are no emission dealies on this truck as its air force surplus. Maybe if I get the motor fixed up and find a 2 speed axle it could turn into a pretty good hauler. I've been using it on average once a month recently hauling construction supplies, so the mileage is not critical like if it were a daily business truck.
