Thanks to all for the VERY helpful tips and suggestions!!!

We're hoping to dive into the change-over next weekend.

We will most likely switch to an Alternator to help facilitate our + to - swap.

We've had an issue with the engine 'missing', which to us sounds identical to our old Ferguson tractor....before we replaced the distributor!

We think that we might try installing a Pertronix electronic ignition module first, but have not decided yet.

Other than that, we're hoping to have this truck in our barn workshop for an over-the-winter project...."if" time permits!
