Ford F-600 F-700 Compatible parts Transmission Sw

Hello,

I have a 1982 Ford f-600 with a 370 Auto Allison 4 speed. I dislike the lo lo gear very much. I have found a donor truck that is a 1985 f-700 with a 5 speed and 2 speed axle. Should I be able to swap running gear? Convert 1982 f-600 auto to a 5 speed manual with 2 speed axle. Not sure the differance in an f600 and f700. Thought is to unbolt everything from the tranny to the back and swap. I had heard The rear end in the auto is the same as the manual, so might be quicker to just ad the 2 speed to the existing axle. Appreciate any feedback!
