1983 Chevy Wiper Delay

The wipers on my '83 Silverado are possessed. When the truck is warmed up, they swipe all by themselves -- every 20 to 30 seconds. I don't know if it has to do with the delay or not, but I replaced the switch on the dash and it didn't help. Thanks for any ideas.
