I have a 90 one ton Dodge I bought recently, the VIN says it has a "Z" code 360ci gas engine. This truck is weak,I have an 82 with 360 that'll pull it in half and run circles around it.The front clip has been replaced on the ton,and I was wondering if the engine was swapped out with a 318 after or due to the crash. How do I tell the difference, where are the numbers and what to look for? If thats the problem I'll gladly buy a 360 and put in it.build it up first,of course.

ps. I have already checked everything out, catylitic convertors, timing chain, fuel supply, electronic diagnostic too everything checks out fine.
