Yes sir, it does have a manual choke control in the dash. I've made sure it's adjusted correctly (even disconnected it) but still get a "spring loaded" choke plate that wants to remain closed....even when the engine is warmed up. With no spring loaded thermostat in sight on the carburetor, still confused on what is pushing the choke plate of the carb closed. A governor subassembly (I think??)is mounted on the side of carb with the manual choke attached to it. This governor (??) also has an electrical connection along with vacuum hose connected to it. Does this subassembly control the position of the choke plate and does it suppose to open it up as the engine heats up. Hope this makes sense...tks again//
