My brother recently purchased a 1990 ford f-150 with the 4.9l in-line six, and mazda 5 speed transmission. Well, he hasn't owned this jem 2 weeks yet and the clutch, which felt a little high in the test drive, is completely shot. We attempted removing the transmission today, following the haynes manual guidelines, and the thing won't come loose from the engine no matter what we do. All of the bolts are removed, the starter is removed, the thing just won't budge. I'm hoping that someone can help me out with a tip or something, because he threatened to make me help him with it again tomorrow! HELP!!
