Posted by Doug in Illinois on January 06, 2007 at 16:39:27 from (207.144.241.250):

I went back to Nebraska last weekend for a late Christmas with my sister because she had to work Xmas weekend, and was hoping to haul back my Grandpa's F20. They got a little snow and I couldn't break the F20 loose with my 4x4 pickup. Ended up bringing back my Jeep pickup instead, as it was easy to get to and a straight pull. Always kept the F20 motor freed up by pulling thru with the crank every time I was there. Not the same story with the Jeep, no battery in it for years (1980 or so) Got it back home and tried to cheat by having wife pull it down the county road and dump the clutch at slow speed. Only succeded in smelling quite nasty from burning clutch plate. Quit before I blew the clutch. Anyhow, best way to break motor back loose? I am thinking diesel fuel down all four cylinders, unless there is a better product available for this purpose. If push comes to shove, I do have a spare motor in a building back in NE, but really don't want to got that route. Thanks
