When you get one, REPLACE the exhaust valves. These things are famous for the valve stem stretching until the head of the valve breaks off, and into the piston it goes. If you find you're having to adjust the valves because they are tightening up, your valve stem is stretching, and you are headed for major problems. (25+ years on an automotive machine shop - many crunched Corn Binder heads and pistons.)
