I ran the service truck for a mining co for number of years and from field testing of different brands of oil,(paying no attention to the brand label), look at the spec sheets approach, we found that Citgo C-500 series oil was a direct replacement and held up better under severe usage, the Delo broke down under severe usage, and began to burn and coke sooner than the citgo oil. The tests were on 15w-40 viscosity oils usedin 6 cylinder Komatsu PC300LC3 trackhoes in the kaolin mining industry. Gene Davis
