NO, no stamped numbers in those early years. Should have been a metal plate on forward door jamb by hinges. Sometimes removed for painting or such, or to use the ID for titling another truck. Sometimes ID #'s were the engine number not the cab plate. Check on angled, but machined surface just behind distributor shaft on engine. Sometines needs to be scraped clean and brushed some to make show up. Should be 3 letters and then some numbers. Might try www.stovebolt.com forums for help on these old rigs.
