i have a 79 ford L600 that has a 429 gas motor and a 5 speed tranny. lately it seems the clutch has been engaging at the very top of its throw, it still has freeplay but it feels like the point between starting to engage and fully engaged is very close together. also it seems to be not releasing fully as it seems to make some clatter when i put it into gear, could this mean i have broken or bent fingers on my pressure plate? this is what i suspect.
