International 345 V8

I have an early 70's International Cargo Star cabover truck with a 345 V8. The truck runs pretty good but starts very hard when not used everyday. I was curious if there was a spark upgrade available for these engines. Something sort of like GM's HEI distributor upgrade. If anyone knows anything about these engines or an upgrade, any information would be greatly appreciated.
