are you sure it is 15000 gvw, i have a 79 ford 600 and it is 24000 gvw. also by the way i noticed you refer to the dump bed as aftermarket, all these trucks of this size are made as cab and chassis and then a body from a body manufacturer is added to it. also some more info like body length etc would be helpfull.I have the ford book that tells what the vin digits mean, by the vin number i can tell you that, it is a F600,300 straight six,single barrel carb,of course someone could have done a motor swap at one time.i dont think there are any actual blue book values for big trucks tho acctualy just sorta a judgment call, good luck
