Donald, Should be a 226 cid continental engine. Consider the drive train in the Willys before deciding on a swap. It wasn't built for much more than 100HP. Don't know about the cummins - You can do anything, but, its HEAVY, Willys frame and suspension won't like it ! I've seen lots of V8 conversions, how well they hold up depends on the driver and the use. I have a Willys truck, small block chev, entire drive line and frame changed. But I like to have fun with out making small pieces out of big pieces. (Sometimes break stuff any way - going in with heavier transfer case now.) Ken
