repowering a 46 F 5

I have a 46 F5 with a (very) stuck flathead that I am planning on actually using, Have a good 300 six and 4 speed that I would like to put in. Has anyone ever done a conversion like this before? We have a 300 six in our 65 Ford grain truck and carry 7 ton on it in high gear. Thank you in advance for all your advice
