52 Chevy Panel/Pickup Truck question

Hi to all.
I've got a question about a 52 chevy.
my dad and i have come into possession of a 52 chevy panel truck. The roof and box were cut off of this in the 50s to use it as a farm truck. It has been in a shed since 66. I would like to know if its possible to take a cab and doors from a regular 52 pickup and weld them onto my truck and make it into a regular pickup truck. is this possible? i thought i read somewhere that the panel truck chassis/frame is the same as a pickup.
Was wondering if anyone could help out or provide some info.

my dad and i are die hard ford fans, but we figured that the truck is in pretty good shape that it was worth working on. (That and the fact that we highly doubt we could trade it for a mid 50s ford pickup in similar shape).

thanks.
(sorry if this posted twice. i made a post before and couldn't find it on the message board)
